No, not always. Many of our courses are open to non-medics who hold suitable qualifications or experience. Some injectable treatments have additional eligibility requirements, which we’re happy to discuss with you before booking.

Our courses are suitable for a range of learners, including medical professionals and non-medics, depending on the treatment being taught. To enrol on advanced aesthetic or laser courses, students must meet at least one eligibility pathway outlined in our Training Prerequisite & Entry Requirements Guide. If you’re unsure, we’re always happy to advise before you book.

Non-medics typically need a recognised Level 3 Beauty qualification regulated by Ofqual, or equivalent experience in advanced skin-penetrating treatments. Overseas qualifications may be accepted where supported by a UK ENIC Statement of Comparability.

You may still be eligible if you can evidence a minimum of 12 months’ experience in advanced aesthetic or beauty treatments that pierce the skin, such as microneedling, tattooing, PMU, or other regulated skin-penetrating procedures. Evidence may be requested prior to acceptance.

Yes. Students who do not meet the standard eligibility pathways may be required to complete an approved Fast Track / Pathway Course with us. This covers essential anatomy, physiology, infection control, consultation, and practical skills. Completion of a pathway course does not guarantee insurance.

No. All courses are competency-based. Certification is only issued when the trainer is fully satisfied that the student has met the required practical and theoretical standards. Additional training or case studies may be required before certification is awarded.

Students must attend wearing appropriate professional attire, including medical scrubs and closed-toe footwear.

Yes. All courses include practical work on live models.

Our courses are accredited by Course Accredited and are delivered as CPD (Continuing Professional Development) training. This means the courses are designed to meet recognised industry standards and contribute to your ongoing professional development.

Certification is issued upon successful, competency-based completion of the course.
